MK1 brakes!

Being totally stupid but havent needed new brakes for a few years as cars been off the road, but i seem to recall the MK1 has a different brake setup of sorts?

If i remember right pads are the same
Front discs are different on centre bore
and cant recall the if the rears differ?

Some help please need to go part shopping

The centre bore of the front brakes is 54mm on the early GT's, changed in 1992 to 55mm. This means that mk1 discs won't fit a mk2/mk3/V but the later discs will fit a mk1 (albeit with 1mm movement in the disc when loose).

Rear brakes are the same across all models, although if it has ABS make sure and buy ABS discs as there is an ABS ring pressed onto them that is a bugger to swap. Always found the genuine Toyota ABS discs much easier to work with.
