Fu*k paying £45 a month tho for the i-phone. & even if you want it reduced to £35 a month, you have to pay like £100 for the phone... + its for 2 pissing years!!

I went for a complete different route with o2's sim only deal. I got my own Nokia N82 phone offline from ebay, fantastic phone by the way. Ordered up my sim only contract.

So this is how it worked out:

Nokia N82, ebay: £200 in 2008 - the phone has payed off now as i've had it a short while and love it!

o2 sim only contract: 800 mins -1600 texts - Unlimited mobile internet

All mine for £20 per month :)

Every phone company has the same deals on the i-phone as its Apple that set the contracts out & wont budge on price as they know that the phones are in high demand & people will pay it.

Way to go mate.

Everything else is a a hoax, like shit i'm paying £35-45 to own the ''best phone'' - the minutes you get on these ''awesome'' phones is totally rubbish.

I had the iPhone for a week (ebay) and could not stand it, great piece of kit, but seriously it's not a phone. A phone needs physical buttons so you can type with ease, in fact type without looking:) - send multimedia messages etc.. Not hacking the iPhone but it's a gadget more than a phone, personally. The general phone features are dire, but the apps are amazing.

I swear it said it was free on the 35 a month contract and, it was for 2years though lol.

ah that aint too bad if it is, but i would have another check into the details of it as its apple that decide the price plans..

Another one with a brain:)

Also look into sim only contracts if you ever feel the need for a contract.
