mocal oil cooler kit??

hi guys,i have been chatting with the lads at tink automotive i tink there called, they do the mocal oil cooler kits yea!

a couple of questions,

wat size cooler would i need for runing at 300bhpthey said a 13 row would do fine? car will be on tracks but not much,more drag racing.
will i need to relocate my oil filter?as there kit brings the oil filter housing out 63mm.was just tinking that my oil filter might need moved?
and are these kits top quility??iv seen a few guys on here use them and seem very happy,so i just want to be sure:) it comes with temperture plate for the sensors to plug into,then the sandwitch plate,then all your braided pipes,then the cooler,also has thermostat. is there anyting else i need to no?or i need?

the kit thats readily available is more than sufficient,

although my oil stays to cold, so i think i will be blocking some of the oil cooler off, i would recomend asking for a 90 degree thermostat.

it doesnt come with a sandwhich plate for the sensors, and the thermostat is built into the housing.

no it doesnt come it! but i asked him about it! and he said yea they can suply me with the part that goes inbetween the sandwitch plate if you get me.and the thermostat i dont no the degrees! should i ask to see wat it is?or can i choose wat degrees i want?
ricky wat about the 13 row? is that to small or ok?

there 13 row is plenty sufficient.

they come stock with a 80 degree thermostat, but you can request higher temp stats.

in hine sight i wish i had gone for a higher temp stat

Im also getting one of these kits mate, called up yesterday and they were supposed to get back to me, but didnt :mad:

Do i need to ask for anything in particular??

I will be using oil temp and oil pressure gauages, so will the sensors for them come on the sandwich plate???

And Ricky i think i will ask for that 90 degree thermo too :D cheers.

And also will get the reloction kit as its easier for oil chaanges and makes more space in the for oil??

Lol i called the first time and got a answerphone message saying that Mattew was out of the office till the 18th of august, i called yesterday being the 25th so thought i will call back in a sec.

Called back and asked to speak to Matthew and was told he was with a customer, he took my number and said would call back shortly, to no response :(

he is a very busy man and has the memory of a goldfish :haha: hence why its no surprise he rarely gets back to people when promised..

if you want an oil cooler kit you can speak to anyone in the office, just say you know dan and i said they would sort you a good price. :)

i got priced 230 pounds today delivered. dan is that right??seems ok to me.
and dan wat thermostat should i get??wat degrees like..

80 deg is standard, and is that the price for the relocation kit? if its the normal thermo kit price should be around £180 with some discount..

Yeah i will try calling again on Monday when im off work.
About how much would a cooler kit ad reloction oil filter kit cost?

a 10 row mocal is more than enough on high mod. 4efte!

we used a 19row on a 4agze corolla that was a lot to big!

Yeah but thats been in testing for ages now and im not sure if its any closer to release???

Dan, around how much is a oil cooler and oil filter relocation kit??
