Thats such a cool video i can sometimes get mine to go sideways if i push it around a wide corner its so much fun then the stability control kicks in lol i know 2 of these family cruisers that do 11s down the quarter mile

My 3sgte starlet running around 320BHP got from 100KPH-180KPH in 6 seconds and your saying your 4WD 2 tonne house is the same speed?

I timed it the other day with the gtech it's about 8 seconds 7 seconds down a hill lol :p and it isn't 2 tonnes it's only about 1450 kg bloody good top end power 3rd gear is where it's at :rockon:

Deano, i have that engine in a car near enough half the weight and only 2WD, im fully away what the top end power is like. Its mental, But not in that car. My mate had a 360BHP celica GT4 runnig a hybrid CT20 and im not being funny, of course it was powerful but for the power it had it really wasnt hugely impressive. And its all due to the weight and 4WD. I used to literally rip him a new arse hole 3rd gear onwards in my starlet. And my other mate currently owns an MR2 turbo DYNO PROVEN at 226WHP and he looses to my bloody civic in 1st,2nd,3rd(close but still looses), and 4th he gains only about half a car length on me and his car weighs 1300KG and 2WD again.

Dont get me wrong im sure your caldina is a fast car in terms of general cars on the road, but the times you are claiming dont add up. Im not trying to put your car down but there is no way you would do 100-190KPH in even 8 seconds. Just no. it would be around 9 and half - 10 seconds. They are big heavy wagons with not much power to weight and the 4WD zaps a fair of it up to...

Post up your speedo video of you doing this.

The funny thing is my speedo is out by about 5 or 6 km/h at 100 km/h so I have to be at 110 km/h km/h on the speedo before i'm at 100 km/h according to the navman and just over 180 km/h it's saying 186 km/h it's bloody strange I will try and make a video but it would be too risky to do that on a public road when theres lots of police around it's hard to believe but it actually that fast and from 5000 rpm one guy on the toyspeed forum tried to race his mr2 turbo against a caldina which was mildly modified and got wasted by the caldina I have raced other standard caldinas and just left them behind

Thanks Dave got some more plans for it engine wise next gotta sort out getting a new job first its bloody hard finding one atm i like the standard look on the car i cant wait till i hide that front mount behind that nudge bar lol less is more is my theory
