could the gear box from the na starlet fix on the gt starlet.

it should bolt on but there are sum differences

1. smaller clutch/ pressure plate
2. apparently weaker gears

oh also the gearing wouldnt be suited for the power of the gt
maybe just use it for a short term solution for any gbox needs

you can use na gear box if you want it will fit no probloem at all there is a small difference in gears but i bet you wont be able to notice i know loads of 4efte s with this gear box might not last just as long as a turbo box but is ok to use at least for a while.

wow sounds good but one small problem am in the caribbean otherwise i would of take it. and since the gear are weak it would not last long since i have a bigger turbo

it will go straight in, lad over here been using 1.3 12valve(2e) na box on he's 157bhp glanza for over two ears no problem

your own clutch will work with this you dont need to change it

all u have to do is put on the box...everything should fit up nicely.....slightly different ratios

It will fit, but it is weaker and the ratios won't feel right.

you shatterd the gear box withing six months? not a stock clutch you have?

OK SO NOW I HAVE PUT ON THE GEAR BOX MY SECOND GEAR IS NOT RECKING ANYMORE BUT THEN I FOUND OUT THE BOX ONLY HAS FOUR GEARS:shoot:

yeah its ok but i find the 5speed is better i dont know how long i will keep it for but not for very long.I got blue when i put it up i could just shoot somebody:shoot:

i dont blame you dude.

you thought about talking to a local car importer, and seeing if they can import you a gearbox at the same time they ship a car over.

you will prob have to wait a few months but worth a think.
