Seriously, if wanted a daily drive I'd be all over a Polo Bluemotion or something that is cheap to begin with, cheap insurance, gets excellent mpg and is practically free on road tax.

Agree with sam on these cars are far from economical.

If your looking for a comfortable car but stylish for the daily commute your looking at the wrong cars. Why the speed? shouldnt you focus the EP for that and have a nice high mpg sporty diesal for the runabout.

lol, some replies are quite funny haha

personally,

firstly, a brand new car, stupid, the drop in price is so much from the drive of the forecourt. the only time i would buy a brand new car would be a new model of car, like the first day a car came out, to have it on order, and all the cars youve named, have been out a while.

personally, i would look down another route, my plan next year when i get back, will be to prob buy an audi rs6, and i would rather it over all the cars youve named. i will also have a cheap car for the missus + me for the shops etc lol, as the fuel bill will be mad on the audi.

do you mind if i ask what you do?, having that kind of cash to spare at 21 seems mind boggling to me, being 21 myself and still in college.

I imagine it to be Very quick with 500BHP even though it weighs 1.8 tonnes

I driven a fare few at work there no pin you back in your seat kinda car, very smooth power delivery before you now it your doing 1**, i wouldnt own one they do about 15mpg if your lucky and about 7mpg when your driving it hard and the parts are crazy expensive, service schduel it mental. Theyre great cars but youve gotta have alot of money to own and run one daily

Focus RS, superb in the flesh.

Insurance is cheap too (For now).

The MK1 Focus RS has held it's price well considering they were under 20k new. I think it'll hold it's value better than the others in the long run.
