When ive had diffs in my starlets ive had
Cusco, very very clunky and quite viscious with torque steer
Trd, very nice again clunky not as viscious
Oem lsd was my fave

What about a kaaz diff? Quaiffe apparently are very viscious and very track orientated weakboy2 usues one and rates it very highly so does nick@td

I wouldn't exactly class pirelli p6s as a good performance tyre! More of a touring tyre to be fair and dreadful in the wet like most pirellis.
As for the diff quaiffe are the berries but unless the rest of the car is made up of range topping parts I personally would just go for a trd or kaaz as they'll do the job just as well.

thanks for that m8 its definitly between these two going to do a little bit of research on these but a lifetime warranty thats surely worth paying the extra few quid and no parts wear either .....whichever i decide to get i will be buying tomorrow so dont have much time to decide might need a few:beer::beer::beer:

That lifetime warranty is very appealling I must admit.if I was in your position and my works idea of a Christmas bonus wasn't gettin away half an hour early on Christmas eve I would prob stretch to the quaiffe just for that.

ha believe me that bonus is well gone now read the fist post about 1200 is going on the car the rest on food and booze lol

right so i just got a pm there about a trd1.5 with the bearings for 660 euro delivered to my door ,
there is the kazz diff for 610 euro s with no post so i presume abot 640 ,
and the quaife for approx 750 delivered ,,
quaife seems to be getting alot of good rep but for that money it would want to only chris dont like them:p:p
i have heard good about kazz /trd units too and for me not wanting to get it for track use i dont know is it worth paying the extra few quid ,or is it lol ....,


as you can tell i cant make up my mind i need help:p:p

ya just waiting on a price del for quaife off dave b if i can afford the extra 80-100 i will go to quaife but i might have to eat bread and water for the week as i will be skint lol

Well i went for a trd 1.5 way lsd it was a hard decision but money was the main factor i got the trd with the bearings for 300 less than the quaife with the bearings so quaife might be better but i just dont have that kind of money , so thanks for the help everyone ,much appreciated:p:p
