He is away on holidays a couple of days later so he would probably be glad of the money I would say lol.

Will probbaly start the simulator about 4 or 5 pm I would imagine. Once we have 20 or more interested I will book it and see what time suits them as well.

It might be a late night if it goes to Jays after but I can tell you now, you are not poisoning me with that fecking green engine coolant you call a cocktail again!!

day I provisionally booked 18 spaces with Room2Race in Bangor on 17th July for 2 hours from 4pm to 6pm, cost is £10. I picked this time hopeing that its not to late for anyone with plans that night and not to early for the lazy bastards who cant get out of bed. We could meet before somewhere and head there as a convoy, there is plenty of parking space right outside the door, off the road.

Thats usually a slack time for them but they have my number and will contact me if there is another group wanting to use the facilities at that time, thats the only way I could guanrantee they will keep our booking without having to pay a deposit of £5 per person booked.

If everyone going is prepared to pay a £5 deposit before 10th July, I can exclusively book it for the number of deposits given, guaranteeing our slot.

I would be prepared to collect deposits via paypal or other means, they cant do electronic transactions there so monies would need to be in a week before to post a cheque to them. All deposits are non refundable.

They want me to email a list of names of all drivers 2 days before the event so they can have the system set up with our names allocated to a simulator, so we literally arrive and start to drive.

Post what you all think about the deposit payments please, personally I think its a good idea and would save disappointment for all going. I am thick skinned as fuck so dont be worrying about me being offended at your thoughts lol. There is always the possibility of sharing a simulator but if we are organised then we can all race.

Wouldn't it be easier to pay the full ten pounds now so there wont be the same shit hassle of collecting the 2nd 5 pounds of everybody on the day!

To be honest Aidan, I dont want to be hit with the paypal charges for £10 for everyone, and I dont think its to much to ask for someone to pay £5 on the day at the place to confirm their presence and find out what console they will be using.

I can see the Sterling issue for you as well, but I also dont want them to get to much off us if anyone cant make it for some unforseen reason.

I might be going on holiday when it's on s have provisionally taken my name out.

Because of the above it's pretty obvious deposits should be taken, £5 gift via paypal the way to go imo

Looks like people dont want to pay deposits so just hold on for now lads.

I am back home on the 9th and if there is not many more deposits paid by then there is no point booking 8 spaces as there will be space for 8 no problems.

I have updated the thread here to show who has paid deposits. Gryzor no change goes in the machine lol, if you want to pay the £10 thats ok, I forgot you could pay a gift avoiding charges.
