Wee John managed 510bhp between both his cars I think. Bastard.

Just have plates to edit and I'll upload the pics into an afterthoughts thread (If anyone fancies starting one). Probably be tomorrow before I'm done.

For now here's one from the carpark:

And one from Trev's (rightclick and 'save as' Trevor!) :

Cheers chap,
the list of excuses:
running far too rich, needs the emu fitted and mapped, took Ted out for a little drive down the carriage way and split a boost pipe, car would of been too low to go on the rollers,
:p

wee John was 243 not bad for a 4x4 great result how did ted fair out?any videos

didnt get a reading as fuelling was erratic on first run, they binned it at 5000rpm. got to 225bhp by then so would hopefully have been a good figure

not a bad day, shame abt the turnout.
big thanks to alan for the dvd.:)

Cheers matey I just wanted everyone to go home with a little something!
Im just awake after the two best hours sleep of my life lol, today put years on me, and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves to the max :)

Unfortunately its going to see a change it how I operate the RR days, by the introduction of a requirement of a deposit for a position for a run, anyone who came and rolled today wont have to, as I know they're good to their word.
Today out of 34-35? listed, less the guys from the civic club who didnt show etc, we only mustered 11 rolls on AI's rollers, and that was me also phoning mates and cheekily asking them if they fancied coming to fill a space or two lol!

Johnny and Phil from AI brought in two members of staff to cope with the list of entries, and had to pay them a days wage, only for 11 to roll, which was quite a monetary loss for them, and I can only hope the fact that we brought some business their way has held us in good favour with them enough for us to continue to have RR days there - with a mandatory deposit for a position. The guys turned work for the day away to facilitate us, which as is understandable, cost them hard earned, and basically spent the afternoon fitting parts to their 'Trak Mak' which had arrived to put in their time.
I hope you guys can appreciate this need to secure positions, as its tough to expect a business to turn a loss given the economic climate. Im not in the position of NI rep, to turn a profit for these events, I never have, and never will, all the wee daft prizes etc I pay for myself and I feel priviledged to be able to run wee events like this - but please guys, spare a thought for the fellas who gave up their saturday with their families and children, to host their businesses to us.

BIIIIG thanks to Phil and Johnny, Neil the spannerspinner, and his co-worker, who answered untold questions throughout the day, and were incredibly patient with me.

Many thanks to those who came and supported the day, be it on the rollers, or tagged along for a meet!

Ive got HD video of all who rolled today, including wee johns combined 500+ bhp of rolls :) Ill upload them all in the morning when im not so damn wrecked lol!

Sorry for what may seem like a rant - I assure you its not, I just want those who dropped out and didnt declare it on here, unlike Spuddy etc who fair do's did let us know before, to see why its hard for us to get venues to run TGTT mini events.

Thanks again folks who supported us!

Regards,
Al
