they didnt pay 28 tho they paid 27 as they all paid 10 then got £1 back so thats £9. its jus a sum that cant be done

like you said its basically a sum which cannot work!

but they never paid 27 in the first place, they paid 30 pounds, but got 3 pounds change.

you dont count the change as how much they payed

18 divided by 35 moves = 0.51428571

It doesn't matter how many moves you make because it halves everytime you can't get down to absolutely 0, so you'll never reach the door (although you will be bloody close!:p)

Its all about where the money is, you dont add the 2 into the mens bit, that goes into the hotel's pocket.

Your all wrong about that first one about the 3 fellas!

Its a trick of words... the equation doesnt make any sense if you read it properly... Nothing to do with paying 8.33333.. they all payed 9 pound each = 27 which is the total amount the hotel staff received then the other 3 is split top the 3 fellas... thats 30... But you have to remember they all payed 10 pound each to begin with....

The equation 27 + 2 =29 is completely wrong and a trick to your brain... thats all it is... they all payed 9 pound NOT 8.3333 ..... no money is missing.... god that tokk me a while... lol
