glanzas dont handle terribly to be honest mate but they arent the best, always a good start to get some decent coilovers and better braking as a base for bigger power!

mate every "saxo" driver doesnt mean there chavs.. i started out with a 1.4 fiesta but it dont make me a chav lol, there just the only type of cars you can even think of insuring with a bit of credit, either that or its a nova or a metro lmao

starlet handling is actually quite good, its just when there compared to the likes of CTR's that people tend to think they have shite handling, but for arguments sake the CTR was built as a sport car where as the gt wasn't really built for this.
and as for cals comment, its your own opinion but its not "chav"
150 bhp starlet keeping with a teg r to 100? more like 80-90.

ep3 type Rs are by no means slow stock on stock imo the type R would kill a gt even if it was driven by a chav ha !

I'm sorry but threads like this are starting to get on my nerves. What is the point of comparing a GT or Glanza with a CTR?.. There is no point as the two are not comparable.

I think if people are going to compare it should be with a car of the same engine capacity. Although comparing a starlet/glanza against cars of bigger engine capapcity does make us appreciate how good are cars are.

Getting the most out of your power up to and just over 100 is all you need. People who say "oh but my car will take yours easy after 100", I always just say to them, so what, couldn't say that to me if you went to the quater mile. It annoys the bigger car owners that you can beat them to that speed.

Well honda went for bhp high lift cams and normal aspiration

toyota went for torque minimal chassis structure and turbo charged lump,

makes for a brilliant discussion imo but when we say oh, the 1.3 is soo good compared to your 1600/2000 ctr they say ours is just normally aspirated.

(PS im not sticking up for Hondas mates had a civic jordan for a while now and im sick of hearing about him beating peole when he got on the VEEETACH!)

you must admit tho the vtec engine is an amazing engine, so much power without any forced induction is pretty impressive! ok vtec has got a bad name for itself nowadays by all the boy racers but you cant honestly diss them

v-tech it's like waiting for bad sex, all the lag but no turbo ha.
But saying that a ctr/itr is much quicker than glanzas/gt's the only place they come close is in straight line. And yes stock handling on a gt/glanza licks balls but can be made half resonable just with springs but it will never compete with rear independent suspension.
