Not going in gear!!!

Have you actually bled the system? Did you check the pedal was connected as mentioned above? If you have done these 2 things id recommend you take the gearbox off and check the clutch and bearing out

yes, i bled the system, the pedal seems to be connected.... clutch :(:( !@#$:flame: i hate expensive problems!!!

yo boss....i would think by now........like a few have told u including myslef......""""u need to take the g/box off and check the clutch assembly---it seem like something is not right in there""""

until then u wont know what's going on........seeing that everything else is apparently working

but hey....its your choice......

Ok, I got some time to look under my hood, and found out the part on the tranny that connects to the slave cylinder got broken... problem solved... now just hav to fix it

I goin to get a new transmission along with a 5e engine, a 5 speed again. I would bother with this one since it was a four speed. But i will still like to know the name of the part that broke... does anyone know?

PS where can i get some 5e forged rods?

bugger, you must drive like an animal!!! Never seen one of those break!!!!

Speedvison can do forged 5E rods i think.

oh yeah, this is a tercel/paseo four speed transmission. Is the 1st-2nd gear syncro the same as a 5 speed? I have both transmissions, but syncro went bad on my 5 speed. can i swap?
