to explain the octane level the higher the octane level the higher the temperature the fuel can reach before self detonation caused by the heat from the compression of the air in the fuel air/mix due to the low octane level of unleaded the fuel can detonate before the spark plug ignites it causing pre det which is bad for your engine the knock sensor detects these pre dets and the ecu adjusts the fueling causing your engine to not perform as it should hence y its better for our cars to use v-power my friend came to me said his s3 was running shit he was running standed unleaded told him to change to v-power few days later he came bk to me said it was running amazing couldnt believe the improvements

I have never read so much sh*t in my life. Block your injectors? V power 102 octane? Jap fuel 104+? Where do you get your information from and where exactly do you do mechanics? First year of college? Tesco's fuel is not their own fuel. Esso supply their fuel. How can using Tesco fuel block your injectors :S. Surely atleast a 1/4 of the countries cars would be f*cked by now if this was the case. I dont know if Tesco supply different fuel up North than they do down south. Vpower is 99 ron not 102. In Japan they use 100 ron. Also round here Tesco Momentum 99ron fuel is about 4/5p cheaper than BP's 97ron Ultimate.

For a start i came top of my class completing a 3 year course in 2 years i was told by a friend from japan that is wot there fuel is which must hav been confused in translation tesco esso whicheva there fuel is shit i hav seen enough engines bein fubared coz of shit fuel mainly from tesco's u dont need to come on here with an atitude u dont agree with wot i say then dont agree dont go off on a rant and insult ppl its not needed

Sorry if I came across in that way. I just dont like when people give out incorrect information. How do you know that these engines have been f*cked due to Tesco's fuel? Do you have evidence to back this up? :s. Also where did you find Vpower thats 102 ron? Ive been running Tesco's 99 ron fuel for the 18 months that Ive had my GT without any problems with decent dyno graphs from Monster Motorsport showing a very healthy engine with decent fueling.

Was no direct proof it was tesco but seemed other then a few cars all came in fucked fuel filters and shit injectors one car was found to hav water in his fuel dont know if he pursued it this was years ago maybe they cleaned up there act by now im still pretty sure v is 102 will find out soon
