oil from breather!?

well somehow people manage to snap them off sometimes but i found a squirt of wd40 round it and a gentle pull and twist and it comes out easily

ok, after changing my manifold and driving about in the car tonight i found there was quite a bit of oil spunked out of the bov. never even used to do this at all. also there was a fair amount of oil from the breather considering i only did about 50miles max tonight.
what could this be? doubt the turbo seals and piston rings have gone at the same time!?!?

this has only been this bad since changing the mani, which shouldnt affect anything!
