I think the gixxers have the best 0-60 from factory and would be my choice as I love them lol. Been nagging the missus to let me get 1 but shes worried about me :homer:

My mate has just got a cbr 600 and it beats my mates zxr with a few minor mods hehe

Those are the bikes I'm considering tbh, CBR600, ZX6R, GSXR600, or zzr600/1100. Curious though, 'cos the 'busas are cheap and insurance is cheap too...it's ever so tempting. lol

A Mode: 197bhp and 154Nm
B Mode: 176bhp and 127Nm
C Mode: 135bhp and 105Nm
(S-DMS: Suzuki Drive Mode Selector)

If you are just doing your test id steer clear of all three! its like going from a fiesta to a ferrari. I have just done my test and have an aprilia futura sat in the garage. but for the mean time im learning on a yamaha diversion 900! a bit of a tank but no dramas if i drop/ ding it. Its alot heavier aswell so i wont have any dramas when i get onto a smaller one!

Id go for the Gixxer though in all honesty. great bikes and fewer of them than R6s etc

Oh and my uncle has a busa. BONKERS bikes! they do an engine transplant for a smart with turbo'd busa engines etc lol

Or get an RC30 (VFR750r) Best bke ever. My old man has his mint one in the garage, im not even allowed to look at it too hard! that will still do tricks against alot of modern bikes

I've just bought a 2000 ZX6R (on saturday). I previously owned a CBR600F which was awesome but the 6R is quite different, different power delivery, ya have to rev the feck out of it, the power band is between 10k rpm and 14k rpm, but when ya in that band its awesome!!! bear in mind tho, to be in the power band in 2nd gear you have to be doing 75mph right up to 90mph, WOOHOO!!!
