One of the first people to have the AEM full standalone ecu its brilliant!!!!

Hi guy's....

Just picked up my car today from Advanced Motosport today from having a standalone AEM ecu fitted to my car its fantastic. Dan Turner owner of Advanced Motosport is a brilliant tuner and i highly recomend him, i left there so happy with launch control, prgressive boost, air to fuel ratio guage, and set up on the rolling road, its a brilliant set up and made such a differance to my car.

Im thinking of sorting out a rolling road day there as he has a wicked rolling road, the one that bolts to the hubs.

Is anyone intrested in getting a few starlets together......?

Ah really good price, and not too far from me either!
How much was the ecu and fitting?

The problem is the injectors max out at 200 bhp, the other is bhp is all pub talk. The amount of people that lie and say there car is a lot more than what it is. I'm running that power safe I also have a ask air to fuel ratio gauge aswel to make sure it is running safe. I'm running just under a bar

yeah thats cool,

do you have an fpr? if you do set it to 3bar fuel pressure (this would make them 330cc injectors) this should enable you to run 1.2bar without maxing out the injectors,

also you shouldnt have to have an afr gauge if the map is done right, you wont be looking at it when it matters cos you be concentrating on the road ahead

Is your power figure not a bit low though?
I made 210 @ the wheels at a 1bar with standard injectors and no management.

on an emu my friends gt is making 252bhp atf on stock injectors with a fuel pressure of 3 bar or just slightly over.

nice choice of ecu though, thats alot of moneys worth to run a td04l setup though

I can turn the boost up more but the clutch is also on the limit so I have to be carefull. I spoke to Dave burwash and he even said there is no point of going over 200bhp on stock injectors cus he has no end of cars blowing up all the time, is rather turn them down than risk blowing my engine which he said he has people doing it all the time. I'm good friends with Dan at advanced motosport so I got a deal off him so I'm going to email him tonight on prices for people to do the aem like me and up post it for you guys tomoz.

The reason I got the gauge aswel is because if there is somthink wrong with my car at anytime the gauge will tell me and I can take it back to him and we can sort it. But for what the ecu can do it amazing and would not recommend anything else....

injectors dont blow cars up, if an injector is faulty you'll know about it cos the car will run shit.

the way the car is tuned blows them up.

the result is a fair result and for less than 1 bar boost is quite good, and your happy thats what counts.

there a good ecu tho for the money theres better out there imo i dont think theres much to beat the link g4 storm
