One way valve, price? :s

I think my one way valve has split, I phoned Toyota this morning for the replacement part, thinking the size of a one way valve wouldn't be alot... £235+vat? I'm not sure if he's quoted me for the whole brake servo or what, but seemed very expensive? Any body els relplace one? And for what cost?

that sounds like the whole servo mate.

i know its not the same, but a few years ago a lad from work got on for his mr2 turbo from a motorfactors. wasnt much more than about a fiver from memory!

Yeah I thought that, but he even checked the price of the servo, witch came back at 400+, I think I'm going to have to get a motor factors one, I would like a genuine one, but not for £280 including vat

Checked this for you while I was in with Toyota yesterday. They had fun finding it in the diagrams so I'd guess you were quoted for some random valve that they could find. Was told £30 plus the vat for a new one in the end.
