ORC 309 Super Single plate clutch kit silent type

As the title says, i m going to buy this kit from Ogura (Japanese racing clutch specialists) as i tried one and its very very capable to deliver power without any loses! its a bit harsh on the streets as its like on and off clutch but with little practice one will get on with it easily!

Considering its price, its not cheap eh but i think its worth it as it will be ready for future power upgrades!
This kit also have a lightened chromoly flywheel that improves alot the revs during shifting etc,

Any comments from those using this clutch is far from welcome as i need some opinions!
Already know a number of Glanza owners using this type of clutch and till today everyone is satisfied with it.

Thanks lads in advance

The clutch isn't much if at all lighter than the stock clutch/flywheel combo, the flywheel on this is ligher but the clutch assembly is much heavier.

Really good clutch, i have the one without the noise suppression though and its quite noisy, as in sounds like something is broke! lol but you will be damn happy with its performance, especially if its the silent one, doesn't slip at all and is just about spot on for road use!

ORC309 Single Plate Clutch Kit is rated to 400 foot pounds of torque and are well suited to highly tuned Starlets running in excess of 300bhp.

i use one and its not too bad for street use, needs a lot of revs to pull off smoothly and it dont like going down through the gears but i think its a quality bit of kit. i have the 309ds with no rattle although it still rattles very slightly but not really noticable.

My blitz active clutch (same as the 309) was a pig when I first fitted it but now I've adjusted it a bit its ace. No problem using it everyday, it only needs 2k revs at most to pull away then after that its like a normal clutch to use, just witha little more aggressive bite when changing. When first fitted I couldn't use engine braking with it when down gearing but now its fine.

It seems to rev a little keener too with the lighter flywheel.:drive:

Mine was very easy on the street, not much worse than standard at all. I could pull away on bite alone so no need for extra revs. Damn good clutch.
