I run that exact radiator on my race car, and ran a smaller version on my GTxx. Never had an issue with them at all, coupled with a SPAL low profile fan.

thanks! the problem now is that i can wait much. so if dont find anything like that localy id have to go for a standard civic rad.

got a spal fan.. 3 times better than the one i had.

and a civic rad from a 16 auto civic. double the size i had in thickness.

didnt try the car on the road but let it run in the garage and when it came to half temp and the fan kicked in... it didnt even do 1 minute on and temp went back down fast!

before it would take at least 2 minutes with the fan on or more and temp didnt seem to go down much!

today im gonna test it on the road and see what the results are... maybe i dont have totake of the head and there is no headgasket problems :)

:rockon::rockon:

looks everything fine! the only problem is that i played with the connection of the labda sensor and narrow gugae is not shoing any signal... il need to sort that out. but the overheating problem looks like its gone with a rad + fan change.

from birkirkara to marsascala and back boosting wherever is possible and still was fine !

so that may have solved my problem :D

bet you it is a hairline crack in the rad. i had this prob for over a year, changed everything. had exact same issues as you. somtimes it was bad, sometimes, it was fine. was worse uphill. coulnt see any leaks on rad at all but under full pressure, it was a hairline crack.

changed the rad and now no issues.

cant explain why i does it but it did on mine. try it and see, could save you a complete bomb on an engine rebuild.

(try this if the sniffer is clear)
