painted intercooler

Hello Everyone

Been talking to a few mates about painted intercoolers as i have seen a few that have been painted black for the (stelth) Look

But can this harm the airflow in to the intercooler really i want to no if its ok to do it or not as a few of my mates say its ok and some say no its not

as long as you dont go mad with a really thick coat of paint it wont really make much difference

high temperature paint is supposed to be the way to go.

yup. stock intercooler is painted black and alot of alloy coolers come with a light dusting of silver paint to give them an even colour. just dont go too thick with the paint and you will be fine
