petrol light wont go off...ever

dno what the hell started this, started a couple weeks ago and is finally bugging me.

the fuel gauge works fine, goes all the wya upto full and down to empty etc.

im still getting the same miles as per usual,

but the darned petrol light just wont go off :s

anyone had this happen? did a search...got nufin on this subject. ta.

sounds like the sensor in the tank is damaged either replace the sensor or wait till the light burns out

must be a hole in your tank mate

on another note, either sensor is dead (highly uncomon, but possible). or there is a short in the wiring somewhere. do a continuity test.
