I wanted a little advice about pick-up trucks, I am moving house soon (not far, and can make several trips) and need to move some stuff, not loads but enough. I thought about buying a pick-up truck/van and wanted some advice. I don't have a car at the moment (Starlet was sold) so would be a daily driver as I will now drive to work. I will also be driving round collecting furniture for my new house, beds, sofa, table etc.
I don't need loads of space or a massive bed but enough for a reasonable load, or would I be better of with a van?
I wouldn't like to spend much, I was thinking of a Proton Jumbuck (see below), cheap and hopefully cheerful, or a Skoda fabia or VW Caddy - I could spend a bit more for more bang though, few grand more maybe if justifiable...
Anyone got any experience or hints, tips etc, A Hilux would be nice and I would prefer proper 4x4/AWD but am thinking of a cheap Jumbuck for now, please help guys:
