i could have easily happened to xbox

i can wait no rush as i save myself the 35 odd quid a year for the same service

This is why i dont mind paying £35 a year and it only goes down for a few hours for updating :haha::haha: Xbox owns lol

It could very easily have happened to xbox live just the same. Not going to start up the xbox vs ps3 debate again, they're both great machines, just do different things. I prefer the ps3 and I dont like the xbox but thats just my personal opinion

Guys a heads up psn accounts details my have been copyed. Check web site for more. Sony advise to check bank statments and change all passwords asap. Any emails asking for bank details to be ignored.

Im very angry with sony and worried about my id as a person.

What sony are saying is if you use the same password for other accounts like facebook/ebay ect ect then to change your passwords and soon as the network is online change your PSN ID password.

Its free, what do you guys expect. should have when xbox live, much more secure and its partly where the money goes from the £40 a year we pay. I guess having something free isnt worth it when it goes wrong after all. a bet any money PSN wont be free anytime soon, especially if lawsuits are issued. sorry, but i find it hilarious, as i could see this coming a mile off. Think it cost money to run a large network, with ever changing media interface and continuous security updates. Think how often your pc's anti virus needs updating and does searches. PSN will no longer be free if it is to run ever again. the only reason it was free, was it had to compete with xbox live some how and draw its own community which xbox was miles ahead with.
