Any chance that for paid members we can have our pm limit set to 500 instead of 100 as it fills up to quickly!!

i agree here, also i tried to send a message to a certain trader and it would not let me as it said there inbox was full! can they not be qued up or "pending"?

I find the reduced amount helps me keep on top of most enquiries as I need to delete the older ones on a regular basis.

Traders receive an email warning them the inbox is approaching full. They have an increased capacity but it's up to them to manage their enquiries accordingly.

Having larger pm boxes makes no real difference to the running of the forum, sometimes you need to keep information / pm's so having the limits raised imo is only a good thing.

Then we have to run unlimited inboxes and everything gets messy. Keep them neat and tidy then there's less clutter. You can save them to your pc as text files if needba.

That's pretty much the norm on most forums...

PM boxes don't have to be unlimited, but a figure of 500 for forum users and a 1000 for traders wouldn't hurt. It's already happened were toby's inbox was full that just causes hassle and inconvenience for both sets of people.

just think a bigger box for paid members and a bigger one agian for traders would be better :) 500 is the norm for most forums i use when your a paid member!

just my suggestion

also can see it from jays point of view but slightly bigger wouldnt hurt ;-)

1000 for traders
500 paid members
100 non paid

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

notice how you didn't deny it Jay ;)

my view is that members should be able to manage their inbox's, BUT i'm sure i'm not the only member who keeps a record of all u2u's that relate to current transactions or on going tech advice which can mount up fast if you have more then one thing on the go!

must be a nightmere for traders :(

also in agreement with Nwimie on this subject
