whoa what a thread revival!
The cabin filter on a glanza is below the glove box. theres a black box thing with 3 black plugs holding it closed. remove the plugs and pull the cover straight down. There is 2 filters inside.

LOL -) I've learned a lot too -)

How about an LSD on the latest V auto models?
Only saying that because I had an older JDM starlet before my V, and the difference in traction in snow is huge (Mind you I kept my old alloys wheels with winter tyres - so the tyres are exactly he same). I will actually make a video showing the traction in snow/ice on my Auto V, it's quite impressive!

Nope.

My auto is great in the ice and snow too. I put it down to the nature of automatic transmission coupled with the additional weight over the front wheels.

Taking it to basics.. When comparing the part numbers for the differentials (1996 v. 1999) the Toyota part numbers are exactly the same. There are no alternatives, just the one part listed. This rules out any internal differences between the two years, they are one and the same. There is only one differential to choose and it's definitely not of the limited slip variety.

In fact these are the very same part numbers listed for the GT models (barring a slight difference in the housings prior to May 1995).

There is no LSD-equipped autobox. Honestly.
