postage from UK to netherlands

hi everyone.

am looking into options to get items sent from the UK to the netherlands.
should be below 10kg's and not exeptionally large.

what would be my postage options and a ballpark figure for posting?
had a quote of 40 quid for a small package and thought it was overly expensive as posting from the netherlands to the UK for the same package would cost around 10 euro's

I sent a set of quadlights front grill and indicators so a large parcel to holland for £22

I normally use the Royal Mail/Parcelforce and small packages are fine so long as they are below 2kgs. Once it goes over that things start multiplying rapidly. A courier is the best option for something heavy I reckon.
