Power fc map sensor

Just found out that apparently the mr2 map sensor will struggle to read over 1.3 bar, so that puts that option out of the window.

Matt can you remember what the harnees went into in your boost control kit, as the one i see on rhdjapan has only one harness with it, was that used for the boost solinoid or the map sensor ?

the boost controler kit will come with the two one for the map sensor and one for the boost soilnoid.I still have the boost controller solinoid and harness and it plugs into your factory solinoid loom?

I ran the Boost controler kit that comes with the map sensor. And the apexi map sensor has its own harness that plugs into the ecu next to the port for the handcomander. It doesnt rely on the factory map sensor wiring. Not from what i had anyways.

Did you have any map sensor connected into the engine loom?

i used the original wires with a universal plug from dingbro with the sensor on the first post
cut the original plug off and attach the new plug and new sensor works a treat

x2 m8 i have a ap engineering pfc with apexi 3 bar map sensor and apexi boost control kit ....

the 3 bar map sesnor has its own harness and directly plugs in to the pfc and the boost control kit requires a cut in to the ep82
wiring loom to use the boost control (i think u cut the boost soloniod wires)

I stand corrected then, I was basing my opinions on a lads car here who did it that way and it never ran right.

Must have been another problem with it.
