PULSTAR spark plugs

I've seen a bit on other forums following this google search (scam was part of the google suggest feature):

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=pu...f&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGGL,GGGL:2006-23,GGGL:en&aq=t

this one discusses it a bit,

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/technical-stuff/28943-pulstar-plugs-spark-plugs-obsolete-scam.html

and this one is pretty interesting too:

http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26908

Particularly this:

they never said anything about compression going up.

they did, however, claim that the flame front will propagate faster, which would have a similar effect on peak cylinder pressure to advancing timing.

I'm not advocating this product in any way, but at least refute their argument, not the one you made up

Still looks like one of those power boost chip scams, you know? Oh, and this:

With increased cylinder pressure, the pistons are pushed down with more force, which, in turn, generates more torque in the crankshaft, more liveliness to the throttle and more power to the wheels.

Reaks of bs to me :(

a spark is not just a spark, you have strength, duration, heat etc

nick@tuning developments is in the middle of testing these so we shall see what happens soon, primary analysis is very good though. I shall get him to keep everyone posted about the results of these.

You can accomplish the same thing by buying an
F-16 Pulse King on ebay for 69.95 it attaches to the battery and works all your stock sparkplugs.

Might be worth a peek.
