The fans on Starlets do go off when you turn off the engine, French cars often stay on but the Starlets dont only if you leave the ignition switched on.

Not really much point keeping the fan running as the coolant doesnt get pumped through the rad when the engine is switched off.

My auto does leave the fan on with ignition key off maybe it cools the auto box oil cooler ? Or maybe just because the turbo timer keeps power on the ignition circuit?

!!!!every car stops pumpin water when ignition is switched off??
I have never had a car that when the fan turns on and I switch the key off stops the fan??!!

I have had about 40 cars from vw to bmws and nisssans!!

In my eyes I don't think this should do this??

Any one else on this matter?

...

So these cars don't run the fan when switch off?

Vws run on when hot and cit saxos do??

Just stops the water in rad over boilin to push the water out as when water boils it expands!!!

NOT WATER PUMP point scorer!!

This was just a thought as never ever been in a car that the car fan don't run if hot and switched off?

Thanks Steve
