Re-sealing Oil Sump After Removal...

I use silicone RTV from my work as im in the aerospace business i hav'nt had any problems for 6months

i use a sealant that is for vw/skoda/audi etc, about £20 a tube but the stuff is great, an on 2 engines ove had not once has need re selaing.

i get off me mate who works at a garage but id assume he gets it from an vw main dealer

Genuine toyota stuff is about £60 a tub, I used the Granville stuff which I rate highly. Been using it for years and its never failed me yet!

Right just to let everyone know you can get a sump gasket it's from speed vision I will find a like and post it up

That looks nothing like a 4efte sump. Should have a crescent shaped indent in the far ends too
