Rear brace problem

I got myself a rear toyota strut brace and got it powder coated blue but it wont fit into my mk1 gt does anyone know were i can get one that fits my mk1 gt turbo??

Why won't it fit? Sometimes the plastic trim needs cutting to allow braces to fit snug.

The rear three-point braces were released later in the production stages.

As a result Mk1's don't have the bolt holes on the floor for the centre mount.

I had my bolt holes welded in so i could use the triple point brace.easyily done and cost me 40 from a bloody good welder

I dont fancy weldin stuff onto my car to make it fit! Think i will try keith at zisco to make me a rear brace so it just bolts straight in.
