Extra Info: Well as some of you may know i part-exchanged my car back at the end or January for a ep91.

I drove the car home (80miles) and everything was fine accept for it stuttered a little bit from a standstill, the next day due to go to work and start the car and it just would not start, since then i have been baffled on what the problem with the car is, i spent a week doing the basics and then i gave it to my local garage they just checked the mechanical basics and said they was going to get it on a diagnostic, but nothing really came up so i got the car taking away and took it to, Jap-Tech in Hull who specialise in Imports.

They have since had the car for around a month, They have worked on the car for around 50hours,changed the throttle position sensor and other bits and bobs and now there telling me that there stumped, With it being my first EP i have tried to do my homework and help out but its staying the same so im forced to put it up for sale as i have had no car for over two months and it is affecting not only my personal life but i have also lost my job because of it and now after paying off each of the garages i have no cash left to put into the car.

Now for the good bits, The car has covered ninety thousand kilometres and has around 8months MOT and im not to sure on the tax.



also the car has had a rebuild with 4x new pistons + Rings, 4 x Conrod Shells. Head was skimmed and fully serviced with new valve stem seals, new Battery, Distributor cap + Arm all new gaskets.
Brand new Exedy clutch (It is not a ebay one)

I forgot to add the car also has Lsd, also i am open to listening to any sort of cash and px offers as i need some form of transport ASAP.

the car does not have a alarm or immobiliser, but how the car is running is similar to a immobiliser playing up even though the car does not have one.

@ Tucka: i really appreciate your help buddy i cannot thank you enough, and no it does not put me off Ep's :) Im hoping to get myself a pritty much standard car and work on that at my own pace to what i want it to be.

no when he sold it it was pfercetly fine sold it got 5k i think or more he just had brand new pistons and conrods put in from toyota and the car was looked after and i mean looked after

yeah iv been in touch with simon about the car he's helped all he can, also been in touch with the person he sold it too and i wouldn't say he was exactly helpfull, he said hes never had problems etc etc but then again he would say that.

i'd love the car go back to you as your the one that knows the car the most and could probably sort this problem out in a jiffy, it has to be something stupid its just grating me that i cannot sort it.

The engine is turning over fine, all the sparks are sparking every ignition related has been changed, the plugs,distributor cap,rot arm and leads. the car also has good compression.

i think your mad selling this car mate ,try and see if you can get a member close by to try sort the problem ,it has to be nothing major ,and your letting one beautiful high spec Glanza go for buttons,did you try the ecu water sensor yet ,and any joy with the fpr guide i gave ye

what boost was the turbo running and what rpm did it come on full?
nice car,shame abt the problems u had with it.:(

I have pm'd everyone back i think..

Yeah i know im crazy the car is worth £5000 or there abouts in working order and it £3200 it could be a £5 part and then you would be getting a car for £3205 that is worth £5000.

im having this weekend to try and get the car sorted and then im contemplating selling the car.

as far as im aware the car was running 0.9 bar and it spools as fast as any ct9 with the benefits of a td04
