Relocated intake

I have just relocated my intake has anyone ever had any problem when it rains? I don't mean like driving though a puddle I mean with the rain going though the grill to the intake

Never had a problem, even in torrential rain.

It's all fine, I do put some cover in front of it in the winter because of the bloody Gritters, the salt gets all over the filter, then it would get over time and I just don't like the idea of salt being on the filter. It is perfectly fine in any rain or snow or any other conditions unless of course you hit the flood -)))
