removing standard wheel with airbag

i removed mine last week.

take terminals of battery and leave for about 30 mins.

loosen the 2 screws holding the airbag in place on either side of the wheel

undo these screws and the airbag will come out (store it somewere safe)

then unclip all the connections

next loosen the nut that holds the steering wheel on

fight with the wheel until it decides to come off

thats all i did to change the steering wheel in the car

fairly straightforward.

There's a little black clip that holds a third screw so it can't be undone, move the clip then undone that screw since this is the one which arm's the airbag.
