Alright lads, left the car to a garage it got stripped. 4k's worth of mods, gone.
I'm gettin compensated from the garage but still, ya cant have anything can ya.

Get a full list of what went missing and at least if anyone hears of the stuff going locally they might be able to help. There's only so many Starlets in the country..

Sorry to hear about this bud, hope you get it sorted.
Think the garage should buy the exact parts back for you and fit them free of charge, at the end of the day its down to their security how people were able to break in and have the time to remove all these parts, do they not have a alarm or anything in their garage??

now he's sayin he wont compensate me! i'm booked in for a talk wit a solicitor this week, the list of stuff missing is around 4k's worth of stuff if i was to buy it al now... heart broke..

yeah thats prob it.. or else he aint insured..
either way i need the compensation as the starbo is only a shell now..
its only worth about 1500 and it was for sale for 7k euros..
at a savage loss now

Yeah, seek legal advice ASAFP.

The car was in their care and thus should be covered under their liability.

A solicitor will be able to advise you better.

Well, as someone who knows a bit but wouldn't trust himself with anything safety critical, I'd view it as essential to find a trustworthy garage. And if anything get's stolen in their care, it was their responsibility to keep it safe. Thus, they should accurately compensate for their shortcoming.

So I'd add weight to the legal argument!

dude i work for and a garage 1st be reasonable with them but if they refuse to give compo take them to court and go to the papers the last thing they want is how un-helpful they are all over the county paper! best of luck dude really feel for you!
