is that all??
wat do circlip pliers look like

no bolts??/

Just a massive circlip holding the snail in place. The comp housing will rotate a bit anyway with a wee bit of force, but get circlip pliers and take the circlip out and the snail should spin freely. I don't think CT9's have a locking pin either, so very simple job in theory. Unless like my brothers GT4 the circlip is impossible to remove as the eyelets were hidden away behind the oil lines! lol

Oh, circlip pliers:

Do you mean you can see one eyelet of the circlip? Its probably been on the car for 14years mate, bit of penetrating fluid will help. If the eyelets are inaccessible (as they probably are) you'll have to attempt to slide the clip round so you can get at it with circlip pliers.

The actuator will need a new bracket fabricated mate.

The turbos still on the car I'm assuming? Might as well get it off, make the job a lot easier mate.
