RRFPR problem

Got a rrfpr fitted to my car and was all setup for correct afr but today whilst under the bonnet I checked the nut at the top and it was loose. There is a normal nut close to the body of the rrfpr and a kinda rounded style one on the top of that (which was the loose one) I think this is just the locking one? So i just tightened it down to the normal nut to stop it moving. Will it be ok or will I need to get it checked as I don't think there are any garages near me that check afr's.

Yeah, sounds like the locking nut was either left loose or has worked itself loose mate. So long as the lower one hasn't shifted you should be fine. If there is any doubt get the AFR's checked again though, better safe than sorry.

Hope that helps,

Jay

Cool thanks, only problem where I live is there are no garages that can check AFR's and I don't have the cash to buy a wideband.

If the lower nut hasn't moved it'll be fine.

If you aren't certain get it checked.

Can't really add anything more mate, I'm even further away from you than your closest wideband equipped tuner unfortunately.
