safc fitted, one question tho.....

hey guys, ive just fitted my second hand safc today. everything seems fine, engine runs, no fault codes etc. but am i right in thinking that the safc wont alter my fueling at all untill it gets setup again where its been disconnected from the other persons car? basically its because im not booked it to have it setup on the r/r for a couple of weeks so i dont want to do any damage to the engine by driving it on someone elses setup, if u get me.

the above pics are when the car is at idle on a coldish engine (no throttle).

it wont make any adjustments until it is setup. it loses its map as soon as it is unplugged from the car apparently.

its a flash type storage, it wont loose its map when unpluged, only when formated/ initilazed in the settings on there.

you can initilazed it, forgot where in the manul. But once you done so, it runs wthout any mapping.

ok guys for anyone whos interested, on the main menu scroll to "etc" enter that, scroll to "intitialize" enter that, select yes then turn the ingintion off then back on.
