safe level of high boost for ct9

I don't know whether this causes limp mode but have up to 48deg C temp in Sydney so am also interested in how stock or other ecu's handle maxing out the temp sensor. From memory the stock ecu will default to 20C in certain sitautions to protect the engine but not sure if this one of those situations?

I believe the Toyota ecu pulls a big lump out the total spark timing map.

Ok thanks GP82 that makes it clearer, 120^C is a serious number for the stock ecu then as it is reducing cylinder temp. and limiting possible detonation with retard.

As you point out 'Toyota ecu pulls a big lump' this starts around 60c from posts.
Especially important in hot climate a good inter-cooler and water cooling won't get intake temps down to avoid this.
