Right got my TOMS seat and am getting ready to fit it soon.

It came on a BRIDE seat rail to fit a Toyota Supra, so thats not going to fit?
So plan is sell that on EBay or something- how much is it worth??
And then buy a Bride rail for the Starlet..

Also have a Starlet RECARO rail, would this fit the seat?

Help appreciated :D

maybe worth taking it down to a fabricater near you and see if they can weld in some runners to just bolt the seat to! this is what im doing, there is a company near me who build stock rod's and hot rod's and he's going to be sorting mine out for me when the cars back on the road

remove the 2 straight bars from the recaro rail, then remove the runners from the bride rail, then weld the runners to the recaro rail, job done.

You mean cut them off Jonny? lol

Dont really want to ruin 2 perfectly good rails, the bride looks brand new.

What i dont understand is how a seat would be fitted to the recaro rail?

I have found a bride replica rail, beleive it was Idrees old one, but again how is the seat to be fitted?

see the 2 bar running across, thats where the bride bolts too.
cut the rail, its better than being out 100 odd quid for another.
a grinder, welder, and a bag of swear words and you will be sorted.:p

I was thinking sell the recaro and the bride then buy that on, wont lose any money then lol

Are the runners on the bride rail i have not parts of the actual rail if you know what i mean?

Do i keep the runner parts but dont need the base?

Make sense? lol

see the attachments on the supra bride rail that the seat is bolted to,take them off,and if theres holes along the bride sliders on the ep82 rail, bolt them to them,if not, drill holes in the middle of the sliders, and remember, tou will need to fit the bolt upwards,so that the bolt head is inside the sliders if u get me so that you can tightin it from above it.hope im making sence to you.

Cheers Jonny,

I have all the measurements for the replica bride so will see how they compare to the real deal
