Shave warped head or replace

head has bin skimmed jus need 2 buy a gasket clean up the head the bay and the car should be running in the next couple weeks so i can finally move on with more work

they told you how much had to be removed?

A little up date...

the head is back on the timing is set but...the car wont turn over.
All it does is backfire and the throttle body is even spitting a flame
any ideas

ok i will check them tomorrow first thing
whats the best way to free up a sticky vavle though??
i've seen this problem before don't know how to get around it
do i have to get new vavle springs or what??

only way to really sort a sticky valve would be to remove the head again.

i would say its most likely a timing problem. did you fit the dizi the correct way?

yea we've been working on it all day from the head up settin and resetting the timing

**UPDATE**

Finally got the car started yesterday

So am slowly seeing progress...and its just in time too cause licence and insurance runs out this month:confused:

Drove this 2day felt so much betta than before. Can even hear the ct9 spooling loudly now (couldnt before) :drive:
Going to pick it up tomorrow

Cant wait

i am working on that currently...jus tryin to gather all the parts i need before i touch the engine again so right now am jus doing what i can while its running
