hey again!

i took off the tmic!
and i was faced with the pipe i think lol!!
i took it off from the inlet side and it didnt smoke put it bk on and didnt smoke! do u think i should run the car till it smokes then try or what???

and i take it is the pipe located in between say spark plug 3 and 4 counting from left to right!

where abouts u from rory???

You could try and run it until it smokes, and try again. But then you would have to whip everything of again.
Or, whip the down pipe off, and have a look at the turbo, if it full of oil then it will be your turbo, if its dry and full of soot, then its not that.

its another option to try.

it does not bother me rippin the stuff off as its a 2 second job realy!

and i might get someone to remove the down pipe so i can make sure!

but then if its not the turbo what am i lookin at next? head gasket????

If you can manage to do it yourself, or a mate, then its free really.

Could be the head, or even valve stem seals.

What was the coulour of smoke again?

If its the valve stem seals, its a head off job, and basiclly stripped to nothing.
Not hard to do, just time consuming.

Check the turbo first, easier to do. p)

I trust a select few, if i need a job done quick and i have no time.

i was at my mates work today and the guy said it def looks like the seals on the turbo are on their way out as u can smell the oil! and well see the smoke and he said it just looks like its turbo not much else as its not that bad to indicate the valve stem seals or piston rings! plus i have 3 weeks to wait maybe 4 till i have my new turbo so hope it lasts!!!

if you're running above factory limits then wind the boost down and take it easy till then.

im runnin standard just now am lookin to upgrading alot this month so its just speeded up the modding process!!!

mate get new turbo

we got other turbo and now no clouds ,, haha
we saw oil from wastgate side in old turbo
