In abit of a dilemma, had an accident in my corsa 2months back claims still going throo as I'm not liable, starlet insurance runs out sunday and marker study can't reinsure me because i temporally have no no claims and need a min of 1year.

Trouble is i can't be without a car and no bastard insurance company will insure me for less than 4grand :( which is utter bollocks 3years driving and i can't insure the starlet when i could when i was 18 for 1800quid!

anyone know of any insurance companies that i could try? I've tried adrian flux, admiral, elephant and sky.

tryed aviva online? me and the gf (me with 5yrs ncb and gf with no ncb) was £328 fully comp, been rite good with me, been with them around 3 yrs now

Aviva wouldn't insure me, and that was after 45 minutes on the phone. Crap company

call brentacre mate, got me insured on a 250bhp forged gt for £1500 with 1 year no claims bit pricey but meh second closest was admiral at 4grand for it standard..

had the same problem as you a few years back mate when my white starlet got written off,

what i ended up doing was phoning brentacre and they were really helpful on the phone,,

in the end it was decided the best way to go was they gave me 2 qoutes one with my no claims and one without my no claims,

i took out the insurance policy with out my no claims, and then when my no claims got reinstated brentacre gave me a refund, and it was instant, i phoned them up one day to say i got my no claims back, and the next day a cheque arrived in the post with the refund money,

i was on to my old insurance company on a daily basis though getting them to push my claim through faster as they were proper knob heads.

Im in a similar position myself, car slammed their brakes on infront of me for no reason on a good, straight bit of national limit road. Them in a 2003 3 series, me in a 94 3 series. Write off (£500) on my side, £450 to thier car, only a bumper needed! £31000 whiplash claim :-/ sounds abit fishy doesnt it........

Didnt lose my 4yrs no claims as it was on my other car but just the pending claim has put my insurance up for anything more than double :-( been going on since march 2011!! Will be going to court soon as they arent answering all the questions my insurance company are asking. Takes the piss so much!! Want it sorted so i can insure the rx7 im building :-D

I'm with Sky Insurance now mate. Cheaper price than Flux & only took 10 minutes to sort out :)
