td04 with zisco mani / downpipe/jam ecu /209bhp, no wheelspin at all. reckon i could get mid 13s in the dry. it was so wet that all civic and integra type rs were all in the 16s.

here we dont have the timing light always on so you have to wait for an evvent to try your car.

Alf yeah its all bla bla bla at the moment but as i said i didnt compare with a sunday racer at halfar i did it with a regular participant that knows his buisiness! and he didnt want to exagerate with the time as i said he told me that as he does 13 - 13.2 and i beat him he said 13.2 you do it forsure .Now forsure it would be when i do it and if i will not i would just say i was wrong of assuming but no need to be so nasty cos i said might be able to do a 13.2 ! afterall i didnt offend anyone did i?

i agree with alf, take it to the track then you will know for sure. my high compression 5e with stock 4efte turbo set up and open diff on street tyres can only cut a 14.2 on a prepped track here in nz. taking a full second off that time is mental, considering most td04l/t3 and t25/t28 sets ups on dicent boost levels can just manage low 13s with a good track and an experianced driver.
low 13 on a ct9 is a big call mate. i would love to be proven wrong thou! good luck :)

there is another 1/4 mile thread for ct9 turbo a bit further down in this forum if you want to do some set up comparisons.

well as i sent in a pm to alf yesterday they were testing the lights and the track is was not prepped as there was a lot of wheelspin and a headwind plus car wasnt running the best it could as after i got a big misfire and forund oil in the distributor . this is the first time i tried it on the light and i managed 14.0 with 2.39sec 60ft which is shit for a small car like mine (where with my daewoo i managed a 1.97 with a time of 14.4 ) so will try when track is prepped for rwyb and i will fix the dizzy problem in the meantime. As i said before i wasnt saying I will do 13.2 its I was stating what the guy told me !

14.0 is a pritty good result man nice work.
most of my low 14sec runs are in the same 60ft range as yourself 2.3-2.5sec. except for the meet which i went to where the track was prepped. managed a few 2.0's with open diff. but the time i made up was then squandered as it was having a tanty and not going into 2nd and 3rd at high rpm (found bad clutch ingagement was to blame). i would say high 13's is deffinatly on the cards for you.

what trap speeds and half track are you doing?
and is that on a hybrid or stock ct9, with what supporting mods?

trap speed i dont know (and dont want to guess that as i would be jumped over if i did :p )as the time was showing on the boards as they were trying the lights and were not giving out slip (60ft i saw it on the board as it comes up immediately) this is on standard CT9 @12psi zisco mani and autobahn downpipe , HKS actuator , and Mr Turbo efi .

I am useing a standard clutch and it slips a bit on 3rd and 4th but dont think im loosing much to that (i Hope)

Tbh mate you wont be getting anywhere near a real low 13 seconds running 12psi on a standard CT9, you would be lucky to get into the high 14's on the UK's strips.

I wasnt expecting low 13's as i said dave i was told as they copaired to other cars but it was all bollox even who i tought it was a reliable source  but im happy with high 13's when i manage to do it as i only have a short list of mods. But you guys were right its very hard to do low 13's if not impossible to do on standard ct9 :)

what is a mr efi may i ask? your deffinatly doing well for your spec list.
so i take it there isnt many dicent track in the uk??
your verry lucky to get a prepped track over here unless you attend one of the competition meets. but good 60fts are still acheivable on a good day.
nothing is impossible, just verry difficult to get results. 10sec in a street car was considered imposssible only a few years ago...

Nex, isn't there a vid of you beating a Supra down the QM? What times do they run?

nexia didnt beat the supra.. but almost lol. and i think the supra guy uses nos on 1/4 events... (when he was racing nexia was just a normal day ie without nos)

also the 14sec he did was with oil in dissy.. so there could have been a bit of loss in performance.. lets wait for th 7th.. RWYB day !

went with the dizzy today but he told me that he modified it he couldnt put the seal in so i have to take it off from time to time to clean it as i had the magiceye dirty with oil plus we put a hole on the bottom of the dizzy so the oil drip out. The car was performing crazy sometimes then it like keep back oher timesim hoping it was bcause of this oil as when it goes well its crazy.

Here we get the track prepped when there is an evvent too or else its shit the track
