The 97 did, mine has one, so I'd assume it was available on 96's too.

true, glanza started from 1996

the swap over period was 95.

Climate control is an optional, but 1996 onwards glanza must have pas airbag the least. The late 1997 onwards has passenger airbag too.

The poverty spec version glanza's don't have any airbags, abs or power steering.
