Used to have an SR turbo way back, it's much easier to get a 4efte egnine and cheaper in the long run have a look at this, in AUD but easy to see the prices when you convert to GBP:

Thats the best way to be mate!, I've a gearbox coming sometime this week was gonna pay £100 to get it fitted from a member on here but a mate thats a mechanic owes me money so he's gonna fit it for me, the headgasket will take me a while to save some cash up but will be back on the road soon hopefully! lol untill then im driving the purple corsa =D

Sure can, my man in Droitwich We can supply parts/tech advise and he can do all the work. We've converted quite a few already including our original Starlet back in 2005.

If you need any help just get in contact regardless of who you use happy to assist.

I want a 4efte with mani and straight through exhaust, ct9 turbo with FMIC and the suspension uprated and brakes ect....

Lol!! Im thinking of buying my mates 16v Clio its quicker than my car as it stands! he's travelling so might buy it for 6months then sell it back to him! lol =) then that can be my second car and i can give the corsa back to my gf =]

Save your money chap. There's no point spending all that dosh and then getting a GT... So what if all your mates have faster cars? With circa £8k to spend when you do get one, yours will be faster then...

Labour is circa £950.00 exc parts for drive in driver out, if you get a Glanza engine will be cheaper as we don't need to splice the loom.

Right so i am best just to hold out and get my GT next year? its just well hard as i sit on this site all day long at work.... owell atleast buy the time i get 1 i will know everythink about starlets lol

I would if it was me, I only converted as I loved my car and couldn't let go and that was when Starlets were expensive.

Get a GT bud they are dirt cheap, if you want help looking let me know lots of dogs out there but with a little head work you can find a good en, especially on the forums.
