standard window film? best way to remove?

just thought i would update this managed to get hold of a proper powerful general purpose cleaner called LOCTITE SUPERCLEAN dunno where u can buy this from but it does the trick so well comes in a spray can jus spray and rub with a cloth and it comes straight off just to let you no i didnt read the CAUTION part and decided to use it on my headlights it has ruined em to say the least lol

ha ahh as funny as this is its not that funny really....
Typical fella if you ask me i could tell you so many stories about fellas and there use first and read later approach....

Ye always have to learn the hard way.....:p

Post up some pics of the damage....

use metal cleaner form halfords for your head lights.. (none grit) its perfect for dull headlights... as for any left over residue/glue use petrol.. wipe on, let it soak for a bit and wipe off with a bit of elbow grease and wash clean with soapy water afterwords.. petrol is also great for tar removal and again give the car a good wash with soapy water afterwords

will do mate its burnt top layer off or san they r ruined now ne way properly more than they was before oh well gonna av to pay toyota visit will post pics up shortly

ahh you never know there might be some way of salvaging them will no better when pics are up....

dude trust me try a good none grit metal polish on the headlights before you go off and buy news ones.. it works a treat ;)

think its like burnt the plastic

CAUTION: Product may affect painted surfaces and some plastics

Your best bet dude is to get some 2200 grit sand paper and sand it down and then use some autosol and see if that works, it shouldn't make them worse anyway ha ha
