True mark but theres ways to lower the temps oil cooler...different rad and lower temp thermostat etc. still run hotter i know but for the gains in my eyes its worth it. (not teaching you how to suck eggs btw lol) Give me an e46 m3 @ 360bhp on the other hand and il change my mind lol.

Teggis have a light arse end too tho (Y) - driving something challenging is the best you learn so much about how the car reacts on a track!

Oil coolers will work but not to the extent you would think.. Lower thermostats are a waste of time to boot.

Yes i enjoyed using the GT on track and yes i could show a few upper end cars a thing or 2 but after 10 hot laps the thing was getting rather hot, even with the heaters on inside..
I remember having the CRX (pre turbo), and the thing would go round and round and round all day, no problems with heat etc. So much more fun over the course of a day

X2 u just getting going then everything heats and it's time for a cool off
I have a low temp thermostat and my oil cooler is mounted directly behind my grill and she still heats up quick
Not to mention ur charge and exhaust gas temps rising

I'd like to no how the touring car boys do it cause they take raw death for 30laps and never miss a beat

You pay for a day on the track so you want something that only has yo come in when its time to refuel. In the afternoon when its an open plane out 2 dent even get switched off lol.

See ive not had a problem with it getting too hot on track the only times i have to pull in it when the tyres get too hot, i get a good 20laps in at brands before i come in for 5 10mins to cool off and then I'm back out. I've not got oil cooler or anything either yet, i can see heat being a problem in the summer because temps all round are an issue but past couple ive done havnt had an issue heat wise. not sure if its anything to do with nothing in my bay obstructing ventilation or circulation since i took loads of shit out. N/A like you say jus goes n goes but i personally find it less fun :)

Do you have an after market water temperature, oil temperature and oil pressure gauges? If you are using the stock gauge then your car is probably overheating.
I find this really hard to believe that your car doesn't over heat after 20 laps. Rorys GT had unobstructed alloy rad and oil cooler, but yet the temps would still creep up.

X2 my car and the old boys Evo is the same
Iv got a std uk rad and my fan runs constant
When i say it heats up I mean after about 10 Laps then it's time to think cool off
