one of my mates has a 4speed starlet,and wired up a push button start,disconnected the cig lighter and put the rubber button coming out of that,
its neet and tidy and looks the part obviously you have to turn the key on then push the button,

You could fit it but it won't plug straight in, their not hard to fit and you can put them on pretty much any car.

if it has been wired in like a turbo timer which it looks like it has of course it will plug in2 the existing harness.... did u other guys even have a look or just say no cause u can...

iv got a push start on my 406 lol ignition key welded itself into the igntion barrel so iv put a switch in for the igntion on and off and a push start button. cheap option just now lol. its not hard to do
