i would say the top one, my ep82 engine/box has the bottom starter attached

OK...does this sound like the alternator!!!??

Changed the battery and car starts over and drives fine for 2 days!

Went out to start it 5 minutes ago and it turns, but does not fully turn over. If I turn over and pump the gas I eventually seem to get it to start.

Seems like the alternator is not charging the battery correctly, as the same problem has happened again a few days after charging the battery?

How come pumping the gas makes a difference in order to start it up?

dunno mate, my mondeo needs the gas pumping to kick her up in the morning. shouldn't really make any odds on an EFI car though

Started first time this morning even though it had troubles lastnight? If the battery was dying, it would be worse everytime I go to start it up?
